The 8th graders have learned about many different ways authors create suspense. The photos below show that they are working in partners searching through a story for four different suspenseful tools, using textual evidence to support their claims.
The seventh graders created a tableau for the short story "Thank You, Ma'am." A tableau is a group of models or motionless figures representing a scene from a story or from history. The previous post contains examples of tableau from 7A. This post contains ones from 7B.
